Virtual Lessons
Ask Questions, Solve Problems, Catch Fish
Learn online
Not everybody is in a position to join us for on-the-water lessons. Maybe you live too far away, maybe a guide trip is too expensive, or maybe you just want a few tips to go put to use on the water on your own. Whatever the case, virtual lessons may be the solution for you.
A virtual lesson is a one or two hour, face to face video call with me to answer specific questions and provide tips to help you push your angling journey forward. We can cover topics like rigging, presentations, fly selection, travel, how to prepare for a competition or make one of the US Teams, and many more. Despite how much we can go over in a short session, virtual lessons can’t replace a guide trip for learning how to use these techniques and information on the water, but they’re a great start!
After our talk, you’ll receive a recording of our session for your personal reference (not to share!), as well as my notes on next steps forward and additional resources that will help you grow. As a bonus, any of my virtual students will receive 10% an in-person guide trip to see how I utilize the concepts we talked about on the water!
How it works
Once we confirm your booking, you’ll receive a Zoom link to join when the time comes. You should be able to join without needing to download any apps. You’ll need a consistent internet connection to make sure the meeting runs smoothly. Use headphones for the best quality, wired ones are preferred. After the meeting, you’ll get a Google drive link to the meeting recording and my notes, where you’ll have 14 days to download it.
