New Zealand's North Island | Jan/Feb 2027 | Education Focused Trip
Join Innovative Angling’s Mike Komara and top New Zealand competitive angler Ollie Basset for an educational hosted trip to New Zealand’s North Island. We’ll target massive NZ brown and rainbow trout while teaching you some of the specialized tools and tactics used in competitive fishing to be a more effective and efficient angler.
This isn’t a standard hosted trip experience. Mike will not just be your trip host, but also your guide and instructor along with Ollie through the entire trip. We will be running the entire operation through our own facilities. The goal of this trip is to learn new techniques while exploring the fishing the North Island has to offer.
