Mulchatna River, Alaska | August 5th-12th 2027
Over the course of the week, you’ll fish the Mulchatna River and its tributaries for silver salmon, sockeye salmon, wild rainbow trout, Dolly Varden, and Arctic grayling with your host Mike Komara. Getting there is part of the adventure: the group flies by Caravan over Lake Clark National Park and Preserve before transferring to a float plane for the final flight into the lodge. This trip is organized and run by Alaskan Remote Adventures.
It’s a true remote Alaskan experience with outstanding fishing at the center of it all.

New Zealand's North Island | February 2028 | Education Focused Trip
Join Innovative Angling’s Mike Komara and top New Zealand competitive angler Ollie Basset (2x top 10 World Championship finisher & 3x New Zealand National Champion) for an educational hosted trip to New Zealand’s North Island. We’ll target massive NZ brown and rainbow trout while teaching you some of the specialized tools and tactics used in competitive fishing to be a more effective and efficient angler.
The goal of this trip is to learn new techniques while exploring the fishing the North Island has to offer.
