Simms G3 Wading Jacket
Admittedly I’ve not tried the new G3 wading jacket, but that’s because my original one from 2016 is still going strong. It’s one of the most bombproof pieces of gear I own, and has kept me dry in some pretty substantial downpours. It’s a great piece of gear I highly reccommend.
Arctix Waterproof Insulated Bibs
I use these waterproof bibs for cold days on the lakes. They keep me very comfortable and dry in the boat for a much more reasonable price than most fishing branded ones. I also wear them under my waders on the coldest fishing days of the year, they keep it ultra warm and help keep things dry if you happen to have a leak.

Simms Solarflex Hoodie
Simms is still making some of the best sun shirts and hoodies in the business. These are super comfortable, durable shirts that will keep the sun off on long days on the water.
Orvis DriCast Hoodie
The Orvis Dricast hoodie is another great sun shirt option. The material is a bit softer and suppler than the Simms sun hoodies, which I prefer for more relaxed days on the water. They also have, in my opinion, some better designs than Simms.
VRST Limitless Pant
I’ve been using the VRST Limitless pants as my wading pants for the last year and have really liked them. They are super durable and don’t show any signs of wear even after some pretty rough use. They aren’t ultra light material like some wading pants, but do still dry fairly fast.
Realtree Merino Wool Socks
These are great, fairly priced wool socks that have a crazy long usable life. They are pretty thick and come up high on the calf to trap in warmth. They’re an awesome option for the money!
